hIPNOSTIC in a MOVIE? In all Hot Topic Stores NOW! From the producer of "From Dusk till Dawn" Midnight Syndicate Films has chosen "Ritual" to be in their new horror film called, "The Dead Matter". The long-awaited dark fantasy film starring Andrew Divoff, Jason Carter, and Tom Savini. Produced by Midnight Syndicate Films and Precinct 13 Entertainment. The LA screening will be Saturday, September 18th on the Queen Mary in Long Beach. The screening is open to the public and will part of the Ghost Expo "4". Cast members will be out in full force. hIPNOSTIC's song "RITUAL" will also be included in the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack CD. Midnight Syndicate will release a special edition "The Dead Matter" DVD set that will be available at ALL Hot Topic stores nationwide on July 30th . The set includes 3 Discs. PROGRESS CONTINUES on the NEW hIPNOSTIC CD The band is currently in the studio recording their follow-up to "Dissolve Me" PROGRESS REPORT #5 - June 2010 Blake continues recording the wall of Guitar heaviness, it's very exciting to see the songs come to life, it helps to reconfirm that we are really on to something here. We will try to post more often and keep you all updated. See you soon... PROGRESS REPORT #4 - February 2010 Guitars, Guitars and more Guitars.....Things are finally moving along much faster...it's been a journey, and a long one at that. Thank you all for your patience. The drum and bass tracks sound HUGE and we've been building the monster with in-your-face guitar heaviness. Can't wait for you all to hear it! Keep posted for further updates... PROGRESS REPORT #3 - December 2009 It's been a while since we checked in with you all and YES, progress still continues on the new CD. There have been a few unforseen delays along the way, but the wait will be worth it. We promise. For those of you who know a little bit about recording know at times it can be quite the beast. However, we are making solid progress. Keep posted for further updates... PROGRESS REPORT #2 - June 2009 The recording sessions at Live Oak Recording Studio yielded incredible live drum and bass tracks. The band then moved into Mess Tent studios to complete the rest of the recording process. First up was the task of importing all the drum and bass tracks and doing some clean-up editing. There was also two final bass tracks that still needed to be recorded, Chris specifically had a certain tone and vibe in mind and he achieved his vision. Now that the solid bedrock has been layed, it's time for Blake's wall of heavy hIPNOSTIC guitars. More soon.... PROGRESS REPORT #1 - January 2009 The sessions at Live Oak Recording Studio went fabulous! Jeremy's drum tracks sound amazing! Completing drum tracks was the initial goal. The idea was to capture that live interaction vibe so Chris rolled in his bass rig to lay down some scratch bass tracks and when we listened back...the results were too powerful to ignore. We not only had outstanding drum tracks, but the bass tracks were complete and full of magic! We can't express enough our gratitude to Jim Moreland at Live Oak for his ear, talent and support of our music and for making it sound ferocious!
BUDDA AMPS has officially welcomed Blake Hastings into the fold! Incredible boutique hand-wired amps and pedals!
